Healing Arts Massage Therapy

Katherine McFatridge

Katherine has been with Healing Arts since July 2008 and has found it to be the perfect fit for the type of treatment she wishes to offer her clients. She is a proud graduate from Grant MacEwan's 2200 Hour Massage Therapy Diploma program. The diversity and depth of the program material was exactly the type of preparation she needed to get a solid footing in the massage therapy field. She is registered with the NHPC.

Her main treatment focus is on therapeutic, relaxation, pain management, and pre/postnatal massage. She embraces that every client's healing journey is unique and endeavors to work with her clients to develop the treatment plan that best suits their needs. During her time at Healing Arts she has worked with a diverse clientele which has challenged her as a professional and enriched her life. She has been heartened to witness the increased interest in physical therapies and complimentary health care and feels blessed to be involved in this move towards self care and preventative work.

Katherine's continuing education plans include further training in a variety of modalities, more specific work with with pre/post natal massage, and a more complete bag of tricks for client home care that is both fun and effective. She is excited to continue to expand her knowledge, experience and expertise in bodywork and attends workshops and classes as often as possible to enhance her skills to better serve her clients.

She began at Healing Arts working on Sundays and Wednesdays, but has since added Tuesdays and alternating Saturdays so as to accommodate the needs of her clients. Tuesdays are the only work day when she is not available in the evening.
